At a time when many teenagers are looking for summer jobs, dozens of York Region students are spending the season running businesses of their own. The York Small Business Enterprise Centre hosted its annual Summer Company showcase at the York Region Administrative Centre at 17150 Yonge St. in Newmarket, allowing young entrepreneurs to promote their businesses and connect with the community.
