Bar Locale restaurant to open next year at 500 Water Street in Newmarket

Bar Locale will be opening in the heart of downtown Newmarket next summer, at the location of the former Cachet Supper. In June, the town issued a request for proposals for a new and unique dining establishment at 500 Water St., and after a thorough evaluation process, Locale was awarded the long-term lease.

Newmarket is soon going to be home to the newest location of Locale Restaurants, with Bar Locale set to open its doors at 500 Water St. in 2024. “We are extremely excited to give a very warm welcome to Locale as we embark on the next chapter of 500 Water St.,” said Newmarket Mayor John Taylor.

“The creative vision for Bar Locale will perfectly complement the existing high calibre restaurants Newmarket has become known for throughout the GTA. This new addition will continue to enhance the cultural, culinary and economic vibrancy of our award-winning Main Street,” Taylor added.
